The game of ODST is set in 26th century when an alliance of aliens discovers earth and set their eyes on it. They choose the city of New Mombasa i9n the continent of Africa to invade the earth. Though ODST repel the attack of the aliens, a space ship is able to deposit the fighting force. While retreating, the spaceship leaves behind an aftershock. The alien force is still occupying the city, and it is the task of the OSDT to free the city from the clutches of the aliens.
