Orbital Drop Shock Troopers is a video game that focuses on a 1st person shooter. The game was published by the Microsoft and the game was developed by the Bungie. It is one of the Halo Franchises. It has also a version for the Xbox 360 game console. Orbital Drop Shock Troopers has three different game modes namely the single player game wherein you fight without allies or you have computer allies, multiplayer, wherein you play in teams and the campaign wherein you have a mission and a deadline.
The ODST, also known as Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, are the organization with a specialization in extraordinary tactics in warfare and the infantry of an orbital- dropped shock. Orbital Drop Shock Troopers is an organization that was made by the UNSC Marine Corps that is capable of doing special operations. The Orbital Drop Shock Troopers are part of the UNSC. In fact, it is one of the special operations units that are primary in the UNSC. The Naval Special Warfare Command supervises the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers.
How the Missions are Approved
The UNSC Defense Force has many forces that are capable of doing special operations and one of these forces is the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers. Under the authority of the Naval Special Weapons and the Naval Special Warfare Command is the ODST. The authority is an authority that is exclusive operational. To conduct different missions that are against the targets, the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers must first consult their methods to the Naval Special Warfare Command.
The Recruitment and Admission of Troopers
The recruitment of people for the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers is done by selecting from the special operations units of Unified Earth Government accredited nations. Orbital Drop Shock Troopers is an all- volunteer fighting force. There are potential people who can join the ODST but their performance in their MOS is considered. Every person who is part of the ODST is an expert that came from a special operations unit and has undergone two long months of intense training and screening; the training done before the recruitment for Orbital Drop Shock Troopers is not counted. Joining the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers is open to everyone of any age and of any gender provided that they pass the mental and physical requirements. Once a person passes everything and has joined the ODST officially, a aspirant’s training still continues – its admission requirements function as a third part of assessment upon two more, where interviewees would have hypothetically failed in order to pass. By then, the applicants would have extensive proficiency in managing the kinds of dangerous and risky missions that the ODST normally execute.
ODST groups are not fixed within conventional forces of UNSC; however, they take part in cooperative operations. The Different Operations Of The ODST That Can Be Risky And Dangerous
They take part in lots of unconventional warfare. The Orbital Drop Shock Troopers takes part in the operations of the military. They also deal with long duration operations. An example of the unconventional warfare is the guerilla warfare. They also have direct action operations. Examples of these include strikes that are short- duration and minimal actions that are offensive such as deprivation, governmentally sensitive or antagonistic surroundings. These direct operations tend to engage in operations that exploit, recover, seize, destroy or capture targets. They also take part in anti illegal imports. These are the operations that evokes in smuggled goods and stolen goods. It aims to intercept the smuggling of stolen and illegal goods. They also strategize plans against terrorist acts in order to prevent them. They also battle against terrorists especially when they get threats and see potential danger implemented by terrorists. They also take part in recovering and capturing special equipment and employees. It involves the recuperation or healing treatment of amiable personnel in war and battling environments, also the chances of capturing high valued or important individuals, also any gear. The group participates in deep ground spying or long- range observations. The patrols in small groups, in uniform, usually they are the ones farthest from the enemy territory. While the deep ground surveillance team or DSG unit may direct air or artillery strikes against enemy positions, they try hard to be unobserved, and self-defense is the only offense they have, not direct attack or DA, capability. A game editor, Andrei Dumitrescu, commented that the game had a great plot, characters that give support and it had great background music that gives the players thrill. He says that it also has great systematic missions. A writer from Wired, Chris Kohler, wrote that this game is the 3rd best game fore Xbox 360 of the year. The game also got the title of “Best Original Score” during the Spike Video Game Awards last 2009. The game also had great visual effects, which is why it was almost given the title “Outstanding Visual Effects in a Video Game Trailer”. The game was a finalist during the Visual Effects Society’s 8th Annual Awards.
Variants for a Multiplayer Again
A part of the Halo 3 Orbital Drop Shock Troopers Multiplayer Game consists of armor permutations just like the battle helmet of the ODST. The battle helmet also has a version that is similar to a Spartan helmet. It is different from the standard battle helmet in terms of the visor’s color polarization. The visor’s polarization can either be silver or blue if it is the standard battle helmet. If you choose the MJOLNIR ODST helmet has a golden visor. You can get the Spartan helmet by earning 5 points of experience in using the skill of matchmaking. You can also unlock it through Spartan Graduate Achievement.
